I mostly stamp/scrap at home in the evenings after work (sometimes staying up later than I should). I love being with other scrappers, but since there's no LSS close by and weekends are reserved for DBF, I don't get to go to crops as often as I'd like. Pam K's my neighboor and I always have fun when we find time to scrap together. We really need to just set aside time - first Tuesday of every month is scrap night or something like that!
I also scrap at night after the kids are in bed (often staying up later than I should). Like Gretchen said, there's no LSS here in NYC, so a crop is a rare thing for me. Gretchen and I are pretty productive when we scrap together. We just need to schedule it more often. (Okay Gretchen...a new month starts tomorrow.) I tend to scrap in ebbs and flows. Sometimes I am incredibly productive, other times I'm on scrapping hiatus.
I am probably most productive at night after the kids go to bed and on the weekends. I go to crops every now and then but find I talk/socialize more than I scrap (or walk around Archiver's checking out their stuff/buying more than I should!)
Typically, I scrap at night... sometimes I scrap "during the day" on the weekends...
I definitely get more done when i'm scrapping alone or with one friend. I don't get much done at crops. It's just too hard to plan ahead and bring the right stuff.
I need to get scrapping again... I think it has been many months!!!
I mostly work on projects at home. I'm more productive during school vacations than any particular time of the week. I also go through spurts of not getting anything done for months and then suddenly popping out five layouts in two days. I usually scrap alone, but I enjoy going to crops. Although the planning for crops is time consuming, I find I do get a lot accomplished while chatting and listening to the music.
I scrap after 11pm when my kids are in bed. Yes they are night owls but it's the most productive time for me. I love crops but don't get as much done because I never have everything I need with me.
Call me at midnight and I'm probably stamping or sorting cardstock. I wait until kids to go bed before I can scrap. If not, they're scrapping with me and I don't get much done. I love scrapping with friends. Sometimes I get a lot done, sometimes I just like hanging out and getting ideas from others. When I'm stressed, my husband now tells me to "go stamp". So scraping alone is good too.
